Overview

Behavioral Development and Education Services (BDES) offers services in schools to help children build essential skills and achieve academic success. In addition to ABA and behavior services, BDES provides family counseling, Individualized Education Program (IEP) development, and consultation services for the family and school administrators.

 

The Operations Coordinator is responsible for supporting multiple facets within the Clinical Services Team at LEARN Behavioral Autism Division at BDES. This candidate works closely with the clinical leadership team and shared services for efficient and timely delivery of clinical services.

 

This is a full-time hybrid role. Candidates must reside in driving distance to New Bedford, MA to work on-site on Monday's and on-site various days throughout the week/month. 

Responsibilities

  • Serves as internal subject matter expert and administrator of operational systems.
  • Develop and revise workflows and documentation as it relates to standard operating procedures with assistance of Regional Administrative Manager.
  • Monitor data integrity in client and staff databases.
  • Prepare, communicate, and manage staffing assignments/caseloads for the region.
  • Maintain record of client and staff services and schedules, including availability
  • Update and implement training related to operational systems at discretion of manager.
  • Review and prepare reports on operational metrics.
  • Participate in special projects, system rollouts, and cross-departmental initiatives.
  • Assist with communicating and sustaining policies, procedures, and expectations necessary to maintain daily operations.
  • Must be able to facilitate and coordinate calls and inquiries relating to clients, employees, vendors, and customers. 
  • Resolve daily and routine nature issues as well as exercise appropriate judgment for escalation.
  • Provide office administrative tasks which may include management of office supplies or materials for new and current employees
  • Effectively prioritize routine and non-routine work assignments to ensure goals and timelines are achieved.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred
  • A minimum of two years customer service experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent customer service skills, self-motivated, self-starter, well-organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive, with a proven ability to anticipate needs and respond appropriately and in a timely  manner
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent multi-tasking and prioritizing abilities
